About us

Katrina is married with a wonderful supportive husband (Ken), two adult children (Melissa and Jake) who are very delighted and supportive of their mum, and two beautiful granddaughter’s, Skyla and Amelia. Katrina’s Babysitting service has a humble beginning built out of Katrina’s’ loving and caring nature for children. Katrina has worked in the industry for over 17 years (formally) for one centre with various owners. Prior to being qualified and having this as a career Katrina started babysitting whilst still at school moving into a creche part time and vacation care for the PCYC. Katrina has had various roles before making her passion into a career. Katrina now has a combined 30 years experience in the industry. 

Her passion saw her move from a Childcare worker up to group leader and on to assistant director. She has been working within her own business for the last four years and still exudes the same passion for the care she provides.

Katrina is fully qualified, formally up to diploma level and holds other qualifications as well as undertaking various discretionary education (CPD) that keeps her up to date in her vocation. Katrinas Babysitting Service is fully insured though nannysure insurance. She has a National Criminal History check, holds a yellow card (Queensland Disability Worker Screening Card) and a Blue Card (Working With Children).
